Sooooooo Tired!!!!!!!!

I am so tired tonight. It has been a looooonnnnnngggggg week and there are still 2 days to go.

Last night were the opening ceremonies of the 2007 Canadian Youth Championships that I, along with 5 others, have been planning since September! They were wonderful. We had 2 bagpipers and a drummer and 2 members of the Honour Guard from the Edmonton Police Service march the bowlers and coaches in. It was quite moving. One of our bowlers plays in the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra and we asked him to play 'O Canada'. Richard plays the violin and it was beautiful. It was the first time I have heard the national anthem sung so quietly! Everyone wanted to hear him play! Unfortunately my camera died :(, so I don't have any pictures yet.

I came home early today. I was exhausted and I couldn't even finish my 'Tim's' before I fell asleep :-0. Tomorrow is the 'Doubles Event'. Another long day. Today was the team event and our Alberta teams won silver (girls) and (boys) won bronze. Sunday is the 'Singles' and it could be long as there are usually quite a few ties in that event. After the completion of this there is a huge banquet (250+) people at the Delta South. After the awards are presented at the banquet, the entertainment is a hypnotist. Hopefully everyone will enjoy this.

The weather turned extremely HOT here yesterday! It was about 29C today and by Sunday I think it will reach the low 30's. Thank goodness the bowling centre is air-conditioned!!!

I guess I'll close for tonight and relax for a while.
